My name is Charlie Blatchford known as DJ SO CHAZ by charliebeatz as a DJ.  I am a young DJ with over 10 years of experience. Fun fact is that my mom told me I hummed tunes before I could talk. I’ve always loved music and have a good ear for the tunes as well. For me I found my passion for Dj’ing back in high school in a small town on cape cod named East Sandwich MA, the Riverview School. I was part of the DJ club, helping set up and breakdown school dances. Over the years I’ve learned the sound and how great the music can sound mixed together seamlessly. One night in my dorm I decided to create my first website. Back then my name started as charliebeatzdj and bought my first 200 watt DJ system to practice and play around with.

Today over 10 years later I’m DJ SO CHAZ by charliebeatz with a slogan I’ve always had since the beginning of “Your Music Anywhere” You may wonder well Charlie how did you come up with your current DJ name. It all started back when I worked for Whole Foods in Somerville Massachusetts, my boss Jess had nicknamed me SO CHAZ. That name stuck because one day Jess was like Charlie your stage name should be DJ SOCHAZ and company brand charliebeatz to keep some of my original name.
